Sui Tour in Auto Elettrica a Cracovia
A Krakow electric cart tour, also known locally as a Krakow golf cart tour or Krakow electric car tour, is the fastest way to see the city's historic districts without walking for hours. An electric cart (called a melex in Poland, a golf buggy or golf cart elsewhere) holds up to 7 people plus the driver and licensed guide, has a fixed roof against sun and rain, runs silently and produces zero emissions. This means it is allowed to drive in the pedestrian zones of the Krakow Old Town and Kazimierz where regular cars are banned, so on a Krakow city tour by electric cart you get closer to the sights than any taxi or tour bus.
YourKrakow runs 4 standalone Krakow tour routes by electric cart, each with a licensed local guide on board: the Old Town Tour, the Kazimierz Jewish Quarter Tour, the Memory Trail and the Ghetto Tour. Each ride is a private Krakow tour, meaning the cart, driver and guide belong to your group only. Prices start from 149 PLN per person, the Memory Trail flagship route is 199 PLN and covers Kazimierz, the wartime Krakow Ghetto in Podgórze and Schindler's Factory in 60 minutes.
We operate 7 days a week, year round, from early morning until late evening. Same day booking is the norm, not the exception, you can message us on WhatsApp at +48 503 966 687 and be on a Krakow tour within an hour. No advance reservation, no deposit, no hidden fees. Pickup and drop off at your hotel are included at no extra cost within the central districts.

Krakow Old Town and Districts on Our Tour Routes
Krakow Old Town (Stare Miasto)
The UNESCO listed medieval core of Krakow, surrounded by the Planty Park built on the old city walls. Most Krakow attractions are within 10 minutes walk of the Main Market Square. Cars are not allowed in most of the area, which is exactly why a Krakow Old Town tour by electric cart is the most efficient way to see it. Covered by our Old Town route.
Kazimierz Jewish Quarter
15 minutes walk south from the Old Town, the former Jewish quarter is now the most lively food and nightlife district in Krakow. Synagogues, vintage shops, breakfast cafes, jazz clubs and craft beer bars share streets that have barely changed since the 19th century. Covered by our Kazimierz and Memory Trail routes.
Podgórze and the Krakow Ghetto
Across the Vistula from Kazimierz over the Father Bernatek Footbridge. Site of the wartime Krakow Ghetto and home today to Schindler's Factory Museum, MOCAK contemporary art museum, the Heroes of the Ghetto Square and Krakus Mound. Covered by our Ghetto Tour and Memory Trail routes.
Wawel Hill
The southern end of the Royal Route. The Wawel Royal Castle was the seat of Polish kings from 1038 to 1596, where 36 of 41 monarchs were crowned. Includes the Cathedral, royal apartments, crown treasury and the Dragon's Den below. Covered by our Krakow Old Town tour.
Why a Krakow Tour by Electric Cart Makes Sense
The historic core of Krakow was built in the 13th century, long before cars existed, and most streets are narrow, paved with cobblestones or designated as pedestrian zones. A standard tour bus cannot enter the Krakow Old Town. A taxi can only drop you at the edge of the historic area. A walking tour of Krakow is the traditional alternative but it takes 4 to 6 hours to cover the same sights an electric cart tour shows in 30 to 60 minutes. The cart bridges this gap, with the access of pedestrians and the speed of a vehicle.
Krakow electric cart tours (also marketed as Krakow golf cart tours or Krakow golf buggy tours by some operators) are one of the most popular things to do in Krakow and the most accessible way to see what to see in Krakow without walking for hours. Boarding is at low level, similar to stepping into a car. Elderly guests, families with small children, travelers with mobility issues and anyone with a cane or walker can ride with no difficulty. Our carts have a covered roof and side curtains that close in heavy rain, so the comfort is identical to a private taxi but with a guide explaining everything you see in real time.
Each Krakow electric cart tour is private to your group of up to 7 people, which means the guide can adjust the commentary, slow down or speed up, take detours on request, and stop wherever you want for photos. This is fundamentally different from a shared bus tour or a free walking tour where you have no control over pace or content. Most of our guests are families, couples and small groups of friends who want a personalized Krakow tour without paying premium private guide rates.
Auto Elettrica o Tour a Piedi
Practical Tips for Krakow Electric Cart Tours
When to ride
We run Krakow tours year round, every day from about 9:00 to 22:00 in summer and 9:00 to 18:00 in winter. The most popular time is late afternoon (16:00 to 19:00) when the light is best for photos. Weekend mornings in spring and autumn are quietest. December evenings during the Krakow Christmas market on the Main Market Square are particularly photogenic, with the cart driving past the wooden stalls and lights. The carts have heating on board which we switch on when it gets cold, only thunderstorms with strong wind cause cancellations.
What to bring
Comfortable clothes suitable for the weather. The cart is covered but partially open, so dress warmer than for sitting indoors. In winter bring a hat and gloves, the cart has heating on board which we switch on when it gets cold. Sunglasses in summer. A camera or phone for photos at the recommended stops. No tickets needed for the cart routes themselves because they cover exteriors and public squares. For entries to Krakow attractions (Wawel, Schindler's Factory Museum) you buy tickets separately, we can book them in advance with no markup.
How payment works
No deposit at booking. Payment at the end of the tour in cash (PLN, EUR at the daily rate or USD on request) or by card (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay accepted on the cart through a mobile terminal). The price on the website is the final price, no hidden fees, no taxes added, no fuel surcharges. Tipping is appreciated but not expected, most guests round up to the nearest 50 PLN.
A Brief History of the Routes We Cover
Krakow was founded around 700 AD where the Wawel cliffs meet the Vistula. It became the capital of Poland in 1038 and the royal seat until 1596 when King Sigismund III Vasa moved the capital to Warsaw. The Krakow Old Town and Kazimierz survived World War II almost intact because the Nazi governor Hans Frank made Krakow the capital of the General Government and did not order its destruction. Sadly the Jewish community did not survive. Of about 70,000 Jews living in Krakow in 1939, only a few thousand were alive in 1945. The wartime Krakow Ghetto in Podgórze, Schindler's Factory and the Memory Trail tell that story. The Krakow Old Town and Kazimierz were placed on the very first UNESCO World Heritage List in 1978, one of only 12 sites worldwide in that inaugural year.
Domande Frequenti sui Tour in Auto Elettrica
Bisogna prenotare in anticipo?
Inglese, polacco, tedesco, francese, spagnolo e italiano.
Do you run evening or night Krakow tours?
Yes. The last rides can start as late as 22:00 in summer when there is still daylight. Evening Krakow Old Town tours are particularly photogenic with the Town Hall, Cloth Hall and St. Mary's Basilica illuminated. The December tours through the Krakow Christmas market on the Main Market Square are one of our most popular winter Krakow tour experiences.
How much do tickets to Krakow attractions cost?
Cart tours cover exteriors and public squares so no tickets are required for the rides themselves. If you want to enter sights, current prices are: Wawel Cathedral 20 PLN, Wawel Royal Apartments 30 PLN, Schindler's Factory Museum 32 PLN, Wieliczka Salt Mine 110 PLN, Auschwitz free but advance reservation required. We can book them all for you with no markup or you can buy on the spot. Wawel Royal Apartments and Schindler's Factory sell out in high season, we recommend booking 1 to 2 days ahead.
Do children ride for free?
Children under 4 years old ride free on a parent's lap. Children 4 to 12 pay the full per person rate (the price is per seat, not per age). Child seats available on request, no extra fee. We can adjust the commentary for the age of the group and skip the heavier wartime topics if requested.
Do you offer hotel pickup and drop off?
Yes, both are included at no extra cost. When you book on WhatsApp let us know the name and address of your hotel (or apartment), we agree a pickup time and the cart waits for you at the entrance. After the tour the guide drops you off at the same hotel, a restaurant, Wawel, Schindler's Factory, the train station or any address you choose in the central districts. For hotels in the suburbs of Krakow (more than 5 km from the Old Town) we add a 30 PLN pickup fee.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, free of charge at any time before the ride starts because we do not take deposits. Just message us on WhatsApp. If a problem comes up during the tour (for example sudden bad weather) we offer a free reschedule or full refund on the spot, no questions asked.

In inglese lo stesso veicolo è spesso chiamato Krakow electric cart, Krakow electric car, Krakow golf cart o Krakow golf buggy.
